How much more sex would you have gotten had you had these apps? Would have been a game changer

I did pretty good without all these fancy apps you kids have these days. We did it the hard way. We actually walked up and started a conversation with them.

shite is weak. Y'all will never know the joy of seeing a pretty girl in class and following her to her apartment to get to know her. Y'all are the ones really missing out.

Had Grinder been invented a few years earlier we'd have lost quite a few A&M posters to AIDS.

I don't think it would have made that big a difference in college. All you had to do was troll Bogies, Dublins and Fred's.

I think it would have helped when I was just out of college when I moved to bigger cities and didn't know as many people.

None, because I have social skills and don't need a smartphone to matchmake for me.

fricking millenials.

I couldn't keep up with all the lies I was living during my 20s. I use to have to call friends so they could remind me what I told them I told the girl. This would have only made it worse.

You have to realize prior to 1995, Miller/Blake/Herget Dorms had school sponsored keg Parties in the dorm lobbies. That with an 18 yr old drinking age made Tinder/Bumble unnecessary back then.

You don't have a clue. Tinder makes getting laid as easy as ordering in a pizza.

No difference, in fact, I would rather it how I had it.

I Met girls in class, got their number, and made shite happen. Same at the library, bars, house party's etc...

I liked it the way we had it in early 2000's. Still had cell phones and Facebook was coming out but not as much social media to limit contact when you needed to.

With these apps, how difficult is it to find an attractive girl who hasn't had a hundred yards of dick run through her?

I'm very bitter at the fact these apps weren't around when I was in college. Meeting a chick with a cell phone wasn't even a guarantee my first couple years.

And yet here you are, socializing on a message board.

I can write letters with pen and paper and drop them off at the post office but why wouldn't I just send emails?

Waaay back then, one of the big problems was that you could meet a girl, and never see her again, with no way to contact her unless you got her number right away. And even then, she had to be home in order for you to call her.

So it wasn't hard to meet girls. It was hard to follow up with them. You could have a class with a girl for one semester, and then literally never see her again at LSU. If you later think, oh, hey... I would like to talk to that girl who was in my English class... well, tough shite. There's no going back.

Social media and texting/mobile phones are an incredible luxury these days. It would have been like shooting fish in a barrel with that tech back in my day.
