Flying....why the heck don't they board the window seats first?

Seems like it would save alot of time and energy....just an observation after 2 days of fighting the masses on Delta....

Because then every one in the window seat would be able to use the overhead bins prior to the middle seat and aisle seat passengers .

Because then you'd have to board the middle, and if you got the aisles then you're fricked for overhead storage. As a person who prefers the aisle for short flights (longer ones window), this is unacceptable. Not to mention larger flights that have a middle section.

That makes absolutely no sense.
Boarding the BACK of the plane first makes a lot of sense and I always wonder why they don't do that, but boarding the window seats first is asinine.

You are right!..then cut out the carry on's too...twice as quick to board then! I sell hospital efficiency software and the inefficiency of the airline boarding system is jist mind boggling.Surely there is better logic that works for this mess.

You're doing it wrong. Shorter flights window, long flights aisle so no jumping over people when you have to piss.

Fly Spirit if that's how you want to travel.
I never check luggage so when I travel for work I usually have my duffel bag and my hanging bag as my two carry on items.

I have a question OT ballers who sit in first class.
I would prefer, personally, if I were in first class to have a lounge to sit in at the airport where I get my bottle of water and vodka, then board the plane after all of the rabble has boarded that way all of the people walking past me after I have sat down aren't hitting me in the head with their backpacks.
Why don't first class passengers board last? They can still get their drink as soon as they sit down and not have the other hassle.
