The video and pics in the article are crazy. Can you imagine just driving along I-10 and this happens to you??

Yet they're in the middle of a water shortage.

All it takes is heavy soils, elevation change, and a hard rain, and flash floods happen very fast. That has zero to do with water supply.

And we bitch about the traffic nightmare construction in Slidell is causing.

This is going to cause biblical traffic for these poor folks that rely on that section of I-10

Maybe I should stay out of CA for a lil bit.

I drove on that last week....it collapsed today.

Drove on Freeway 15 as well.....it caught on fire last Friday.

"oh, poor us, we have no water..."

"oh, it's raining too much and our roads are getting washed away..."

Are people in California ever happy?

Yay, the one lane coming off the Miss River Bridge Eastbound in BR is no longer the most fricked up spot on the entirety of Interstate 10.

No matter how dry it is, it is never good to have so much rain in a short amount of time.

well duh, drought means no water for ground cover which means nothing to prevent soil erosion..

do we really need to spell it out for them?

We have signs all over here that say not to drive in wash areas when flooded. The washes fill up quickly and have swept cars away before. There is actually an idiot law here that if you ignore those signs and drive in a flooded wash and have to be rescued......you are fined several thousand for being a moron.
