In October 95 parents bought me a 87 Chevy Spectrum drove it for about 15 months and then they bought me a new 97 Ford Ranger XL

'96 4Runner SR5 2wd. After a few summers working I bought a supercharger for it. Many fun times in that vehicle.

In 96 my Dad bought me a 1980 F150. Thing was a tank. Lasted about a year before the block cracked.

I was extremely lucky. I was a really good kid so I guess they felt I earned it. Also, full disclosure, the car used to be my uncle's and he wanted to get something new so he kind of did us/me a favor and let go of it cheap, it's not like they went out and bought it off the lot.
It was stock when I got it and ended up making quite a few additions. I loved that car. If I'm ever rich I'm going to buy another one in near mint condition.

My parents gave my older sister one but I had to buy mine. Spent a little over $1600 on a 1995 Chevy Blazer that had no AC and 200k+ miles on it.

Spoiled, privlidged fricks. I bought my own first car with my hard earned money that I saved from working my initial job as a paper boy at the age 11, to working numerous other jobs until 17. You lazy fricks don't know what it means to work hard to get what you want. My first vehicle was an impala.
