Not a regular thing for me as I'm still in pursuit of ot baller status. But are you supposed to tip the flight attendant for the service they give you? I saw it being done and was kinda shocked. You pay for that extra service when you buy the ticket. But I don't want to be uncouth either.

Did the flight attendant do more or less than a Sonic worker?

That's your answer.

I might tip a stewardess but never a flight attendant

I seem to remember that there used to be some sort of voucher type system you could reward great service w/on American though its been a really long time since I've seen anything like that.

Unless you're sitting at a bar in the sky, I wouldn't tip

If you're flying to a casino or nice hotel go ahead and get in the habit.

I've never bought a ticket for myself in first class, but if work is paying for the ticket, I'll pay for the upgrade. Extra room and drinks as soon as you get on the plane or comfortable. And getting to de-board first is clutch.

It depends on the person but I regularly upgrade on a flight that is more than 2 hours and if the cost isn't over 160 bucks. Well worth the money imo. More confortable chair, booze if you want it. Board and deplane first with bag checking included for the upgrade. I don't pay for my flights so I don't mind the small fee for upgrading

I tip pretty much everybody. But I do not tip flight attendants. I saw some uppity post from some flight attendant the other day saying how there job is not to serve passengers, but to keep them safe. Lulz. No tip for you.

I've never seen anyone tip in cash. Delta has job well done certificates that you can give out to employees. Also seen some people give out Starbucks gift cards, or something similar to FA's working around the holidays.
