Firm proposes inner loop for BTR

Yay...about time right?

An international engineering firm has submitted a preliminary proposal to the state to build an “inner loop” toll road around Baton Rouge, officials said Thursday morning

the loop is to just go to airline highway from the old bridge?

seems like that would just add to airline highway being a clusterfrick

Connecting all that with limited access highways will be great and all, but I don't see that doing too much to reduce traffic in BR.

Airline would be upgraded.

I would imagine there would be frontage roads to access businesses.

It's a novel idea. I just don't see something like this happening anytime soon. Too many people will balk at toll road.
