They are kind of like circuses (sort of seen one seen them all) but they are only 1 time a year so they are okay. I also can see 7 shows from the levee behind my house, which I find cool. Half of those are barely over the trees but still cool.

I typically try to have everything done at 10 p.m. Shoot off the small crap with the kids throughout the afternoon/evening, then right as the sun sets start building up to the finale.

10pm. It's not New Year's Eve God dammit. I'm up now because of inconsiderate neighbors. I don't want to hear the "get off my lawn shite". On December 31st, pop that shite until the sun comes up for all I care.
