Finding old 496 Leviator Engines

These were great engines and I need to buy a few.

Anyone on here deal in them?

Look on powerboat websites for used ones. Lots of guys run them in their boats, and are always selling them.

Used on air boats as well. Contact some of the airboat builders south of Nola, like Ronnie's down Hwy 90 past Morgan City.

ETA: corrected thread title, would still call the air boat guys.

They are the Fuchs 9jx16 of the engine world

Quick google review says it was a very reliable and popular engine for marine applications. GM apparently stopped making them, and you can only find used ones now.
