Finding a booze stash you forgot about is glorious

Bought my Gramma a new vertical freezer so she doesn't have to dig around in the one she had.
Down amongst the 20 year old packs of berries, chicken broth and assorted garden veggies was a bottle of Jager about 1/2 full. About to go get some red bull to properly get jager wasted. It was ridiculously cold and tasty.
also.... who the hell freezes corn on the cob and bell peppers? I can get 6 for $1, fresh. A fresh bell pepper cost maybe 50 cents. You pay infinitely more in electricity costs to keep stuff frozen for 10 years and end up throwing it out from freezer burn anyways.
anyhoo, hope y'all find some hidden booze for yourselves soon it's an awesome surprise.

Never open that.
I still hold a grudge on my sister and her friends for stealing a bottle of whiskey that I had bought on my 21st b-day and was keeping to open w/ my son on his 21st.
They were underage and kiping some booze and didn't know the plans I had for that bottle (or the price I paid for it). Sentimental things are important for having nice stories to tell.

Oh I totally agree. Just the smell of a jagerbomb will make me want to puke. But I was a stupid d-bag without a doubt back then so I'm pretty sure that's what my friends and I would've been drinking back then, so bombs away!

Right there with you bro, doing some spring cleaning and I find a box of wine under the guest bed that I hid from the family a few months ago. About to go take a long "shower" and drain this puppy. Life is sweet.

Yeah, I found a half a joint from the late 70's in one of my dads boxes after he passed. Just gave me a headache.

Thanks man. Ive held on to it for 26 years but cant bring myself to open it. It was a gift from Mr. Brandt ( Chalet Brandt) I found it after dad passed away. Chokes me up but maybe one day Ill crack it open.
