Anyone else familiar with the large puddle that accumulates there in the left lane with even the slightest rain? That hazard has been there since they finished construction. Yesterday a small car hit it and lost it into the barrier. Pretty big front end damage. Wonder if they'll ever level it out?

Well thought out, quality engineered roads in Louisiana? Good Joke.

Yep I hit it yesterday around 4:30. It was raining its arse off and forgot that puddle was there.
Saw the car you speak of as well with the front smashed in. You would think they would fix this area before someone gets killed. Then again you would think we would fix the interstate where it goes to 1 lane.

Probably a construction issue. Doubt an engineer stamped plans that called for a swale ditch in the middle of the interstate. Could be wrong.

There is another one going westbound I-10 in that spot between the Belle Terre overpass and the bridge that I've seen 5 cars go into the trees at. I called LSP twice about it last year, but I don't think anything will ever get done about it

Is this Westbound or Eastbound?

There is one going East bound, I assume that is the puddle he's talking about. Could very well be another one though. There are two entrance ramps where a small river of water rushes across the road. I can't think of which ramps off the top of my head.
