I just finished with mine. I am for simplifying the tax code. This shite is ridiculous.

I don't mind paying more than my fair share so others don't have to work, but at least make it easier.

So do I, but in the end, nothing will change. The democrats love taking from hard working, income earners and giving handouts. It's what keep them in office as the freeloaders will continue to support them.

I procrastinate. Actually, it is on purpose. I owe this year. And I owed last year a tremendous amount of money.

I haven't seen where it has gone and what it has been used for, but I'm sure our government spent it wisely.

Yep, not only do I have to write a check to The United States of America I have to write another check to someone to prepare my taxes and ensure I'm not screwing myself.

And sadly you are penalized for being financially successful.

If you are an able bodied and minded individual between 18 - 65 years old you better be working. If you fall in to that criteria I don't believe you should receive any financial assistance, unless it's the unemployment that you personally contributed to help yourself through a rough patch. Unemployment should be temporary. If you never worked and don't have any unemployment saved up then, that's on you.

When I think about the amount of federal taxes that are automatically taken from our paychecks every two weeks and what that amount totals out to be, I get upset thinking about it.

Then, to learn I owe more after it is all said and done while others who don't do jack shite get money back really should chap everyone's arse and demand tax reform.

When the instructions for form 1040 are 106 pages long, we've got a fricking problem.

When you have to throw in those self employment taxes it makes for a piss poor day. I am all for a standard rate and the only deduction being you can deduct up to 10% of your gross for charitable giving.
