Video of Capt. Sarah Cudd picking herself up and finishing the 12 Mile Foot March required to earn the Army’s Expert Field Medical Badge has been viewed over 1.2 million times since a fellow soldier posted it on Facebook last week.

The video shows soldiers lining the course cheering as Cudd dropped to her knees and then used her rifle to pick herself up and complete the course. Assigned to Army Public Health Command at Fort Knox, Cudd was one of 46 to earn the badge that day.

I know you posted this for your uber liberal views in support of her, but I don't think this thread is going align with your thought process.

Good on her. She isn't the first female officer to earn this though, is she? Can't be.

She's white, though, so it could go either way.

I wouldn't think so. With her finish time, she averaged about a 13 minute mile pace. I know the pack is heavy, but why should she have had this much trouble?

Should we be excited she made it or furious because she acted like a girl while trying to finish?

A 12 mile ruck isn't very impressive.

The fact that she's struggling to walk 12 miles is fricking pathetic and why lowering the standards for women participation in the military will get more quality soldiers killed than anything else. Such a bullshite P.C. world we live in now. The funny thing is, youre too ignorant and stupid to realize how shitty this makes women look and how undeserving they are. Youre trying to use this as a "ha! told ya so! They can hack it!" message, but it's the exact opposite.

I'm curious to know how the hard-asses around here would answer that question.

News story said she had 70lbs in the ruck. I'm calling bullshite on that, though.

As long as she passed all the bench marks to receive the Army’s Expert Field Medical Badge, then I have no problem with this.
