So, FedEx tried to deliver a package to me yesterday, never heard a knock or anything and they left no note. Packaged tracking says "delivery exception customer not available". Is there a way to get them to just leave the package or will I have to sit by my door all day long?

They're basically ninjas.

Usually it will say you can pick it up at a FedEx store unless you fill out the spot that says they can leave it with your signature on the note.

There's no note, but I'll go check again.

ETA: Yup no note.

They always leave a note.

How do you know they tried to deliver it?

I thought so too, but no note. The electronic package tracking says "package out for delivery; then delivery exception customer not available"

I've got some really bad stories to tell about FedEX home, the one that is sub-contractors. They have now bought me about $200 in golf grips/shafts, a $2500 laptop and a stand mixer.

The golf stuff, they swore that they delivered it to my secretary at my office and that she must have stolen it. My secretary is my mother and she doesn't play golf. After a week of arguing, they ended up eating the delivery and a reorder came in. About 5 months later I got a call from a family friend who went to his mother's house after she passed away and found my fedex package. They dropped it off at a house about 5 miles from my office and she happened to be in the hospital and then to a nursing home.

The laptop, I had 1 nighted because I was leaving for Florida the next day and it was guaranteed to be there. I kept checking and it finally said delivered and I was sitting at my office the whole day. I called to find out what happened. My office is at the airport/industrial park and they managed to deliver my laptop to an airport in another city. Wrong address, wrong city, wrong county, wrong street number but at least they got the state right. When they figured out where they dropped it off and got it signed for, the went back and it was gone.

The mixer they just delivered to the wrong person and they couldn't find it again.

FedEX home is a useless bunch.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of FedEx, usually use UPS but apparently they don't deliver fleshlights

They're notorious for being fricked up and not even bothering with delivering packages. You'll no have choice but to travel all the way to their shite location off of Airline.
