HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Members of the FBI and The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics along with multiple other state agencies raided at least four businesses in the Hub City Thursday morning. Multiple agencies involved are questioning employees at each location. It is unknown at this time if these are the only businesses being investigated. According to FBI officials, this is part of a much larger operation that expands outside of the Hub City. "The FBI along with multiple other federal and state agencies are executing multiple search warrants at locations in the metro Jackson area, Southern and Northern Mississippi. Because the matter is ongoing, we aren't able to provide additional detail." - Special Agent Jason Pack, FBI Jackson

Why would you search multiple pharmacies? I guess they are looking for something missing?

Typical FBI public relations statement that mentions themselves and "other agencies." FeeB's love to toot their own horn.

I'm sure this will go a long way toward keeping us all safe.

Any word on how many innocent people or dogs have been shot yet?

I've seen this before.

If they're going after oxy, hydrocodone, and loritab, it's the usual song and dance.

I wish they'd just go to the source and shut down the pain management quacks.

All of the pharmacies being raided are compounding pharmacies. A business acquaintance is good friends with the owner of one pharmacies that was raided said the owner is as straight laced as can be and doubts it has anything to do with narcotics and thinks it has more to do with improper/fraudulent billing....kind of like what happened with all the DME providers years ago.

All different owners. Only commonality is they are compounding pharmacies.
