cool idea but not 100% useful

Because it's not real. Or, at least, it's not nearly as functional nor does it look as nice as that edited video makes it out to be. This is more the state of the tech.

a roll-up OLED form factor is a much more realistic next step than trying to project a LIGHT onto your arm in daylight lol.

there's a reason movie theaters are dark.
