wife wanted to go to the thing at the PMAC with the football players this morning and then the sorority house candy thing with our 2 year old at 3pm, but i'm exhausted after last night...

anything going on around prairieville/gonzales today to get her off my back about going back to campus today?

When your kids are grown and out the house, these will be the days you were glad you said frick it.

should have said "fall" family activities....

i mean, i'm all for leaving my arse imprint on my couch all day today, but i also gotta be a team player from time to time, so if she wants to make some memories, then shite, we gonna make some memories... i just don't really feel like driving 30 minutes away to do it...

Probably an awesome idea. I remember going to the river as a child and doing this.

If I was in the area I could offer you plenty of kites, for some reason I discovered a plethora of them recently.

Also definitely go to the sorority Halloween thing today. It's actually a cool experience. I used to help my ex with it a lot and the kids love it.

when she told me about it, and told me it was like 11 am, i was thinking what the hell??? for the players, if they win (like they did), they will be plastered after the game, then have to drag arse to the PMAC for some shite they in all honestly probably would rather NOT do... and if they would have lost, they still have a late night and would be pissed about the loss... not a great situation either way.....

but hey, i guess they gotta do what they gotta do, right?

the sorority Halloween thing

that was the only part i would be willing to drive down for because it's later in the day, plus i don't think she would be into the football player thing as a 2 year old girl, but the sorority house thing may be less intimidating for her...

we are doing Halloween in Raceland (her first trick or treat experience), so we will do the family thing this weekend, but my wife sees our friends and their kids doing family shite, and for one reason or another we haven't been able to yet (work, football games, etc.), so she's pressing me to do fall family shite so we can join the crowd i guess.....

Fall Festival at Lamar Dixon. Inflatables, monster trucks, live music, etc.
