He was found guilty in August of a felony charge of using a computer to lure an underage girl into a sexual encounter, as well as three misdemeanor sexual assault charges and one misdemeanor charge of child endangerment.

I think jail time or some type of punishment is fine. But don't label the kid a sex offender(not in article).
If sex occurs between two minors of reasonable age difference, then the sex offender punishment seems unreasonable.
