I don't know what he means either. The gas giants are MUCH larger than the Earth. Jupiter's famous red spot is so big the entire Earth could fit under it, so it's not going to fit between the Earth and Moon.

Nevermind--I just googled it and Jupiter has a radius of less than 50,000 miles.
