Someone who seemingly had no visible means of support but always had some kind of gift or scam going on? These people always seem to have "medical issues"or some sob story or investment opportunities or what not.

I've never met anyone like that. But while we are on the subject of investment opportunities, I think I might have one that could interest everyone in this thread. PM me for details.

I used to be that guy, until the late 90's when I started selling tiny classified ads from my one bedroom apartment. Here's how I did it.

There is this guy who is my mom's age, but he is known for always trying to scam or try to get over on people all the time. My mom told me when he was in HS he was the only kid who got a new car, his dad bought him everything. Until his dad died he would always bail him out of whatever problem he got into. Evidently right after he died his mother completely cut him off so he is known for doing shady shite.

He use to deliver newspapers and there was a certain location all the delivery guys had to meet in order to get the papers to deliver, well one of the guys kept having less and less papers and no one knew where they were going. The ended up getting there really early one day and hide out to see what was going on, well that guy was stealing his news papers in order to sell them off (I don't know how it all works, but the guy was pretty much taking money out of the other guy's pocket).

There are other things he is known for doing, but his wife had gotten really sick and when she got to the point she wasn't expected to live to much longer, he signed up for numerous credit cards under her name. She was on some type of of machine at home and if the power went out for a long period of time she would die so he stopped paying the utility bill because he knew they couldn't shut off his power.

He is one of those guys that no matter what he is doing, its pretty much assumed he is up to no good.

Know one? I fricking dated one.

The crazy bitch was such a fricking liar that she had her whole circle of friends believing that she had terminal brain cancer. She had been riding that lie for about a year when I met her, and fooled me for about a year. I finally figured her out, but it's such an unbelievably fricked up thing to make up that you just can't grasp that someone would go to such and extent to play that shite. But she did. Including disappearing for days at a time when she was "in the hospital" and faking seizures around me.

The Universe had a hard fricking lesson to teach me about life, trust, and how fricked up women can be. Boy did I learn it.

That album sounds incredible on a nice stereo, and even better in insanely nice ones.

i know a guy sorta like that, he always has the next big thing he is working on. But ends up working a series of shite jobs, only to get fired or quit in a few months.

his family is rich though, so thye support him and his family.

I have known him for 15 years, and he is probably on job #20, and he went and got a masters degree in there.
