Just show them this - the blue outline is the actual size of the state of Connecticut placed over the Houston area!

Q: CTMD, how long does it take you to get to Houston?

A: 1-2.5 hours.

Q: oh depending on traffic.

A: no. Depending if I'm going to the near side or the far side of town.

Well then I am going to lay Delaware down on its side and put it over Dallas then, since we are supposed to be in competition.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I'd rather live in Texas, Connecticut, or a casket.

I never have even tried...

Crazy thing is, I have never been asked to try because no one gives a crap.

Owlfag....GFY. I didn't realize one of the most successful tennis coaches that coached at Rice...went to App. State. We own you.

I despise Houston. It's a nightmare anytime I have to visit that concrete shithole.

It's a sprawling geographic area mostly filled with roads and strip malls.

That's why it doesn't feel as big as it is.

If Houston were 20 times bigger than it currently is, and you lived there, I would think it too small to also live there. The chance that I would order pine straw to be delivered and spread out and you might be the one doing the labor would be too high.

Definitely has its faults.

But Houston is a pretty good spot to make a living. Fun town most times.
