I recently discovered my SO has bulimia. She admitted to me one night that she sometimes throws up after eating to avoid looking bloated, but she said she rarely does it anymore and that it's no longer a problem. I know that's not the case because ever since she told me that all the signs have become obvious. She can eat more than any girl her size that I've seen while still keeping a great body. She always goes to the bathroom after eating or sometimes drinking. Sometimes I can hear her vomiting in the bathroom and when I ask her about it she denies it and says she doesn't want to talk about it.

tl;dr: SO has bulimia and doesn't like to discuss it, what sort of action should I be taking?

I guess all you can do is encourage her to get help and support her. Good luck man. That's a really tough one.

I can tell you this... most women do a better job of hiding their particular brand of crazy. What you think you know is almost certainly the tip of the crazy iceberg & more will be revealed. Run and don't look back

not gonna run just yet lol. she's a good girl and hopefully this is her only drawback. She did seem to hide it pretty well as she said no one else knows about this. It's certainly not something I would deal with long term though which is why I'm trying to see if she can get past it now.

They always told us back in high school that something like 1/3 of teenage girls develop an eating disorder. I had never met anyone with one though so I always thought that seemed like bs

This is a proven formula for giving away at least half of your shite and all sorts of other random misery going forward. Proceed if you must, young man.

When you do break it off make sure and tell her it's because she's too fat.

Mine used to deal with this and struggles with her self image.

I basically told her if i caught her doing it, im out the relationship.

Basically made the consequences significant wnough she knew i would not support her in that lifeatyle nor turn my head.
Its very dangerous

Since nothing apparently makes it down as far as her colon, I'd put it in her butt.
