Espresso Question...sick when I drink it.

Two weeks ago I ordered an Ice Coffee from coffee shop and ended up getting sick from it (Only thing I ate or drank that day).
Since then every time I've had espresso I get really nauseated.
This isn't a food association type complex, I just cant get through a cup of Iced Coffee without feeling weak and nauseous.
Strangely, I've had a normal cup of Coffee and have been fine. Anyone ever had this problem?

Iced coffee? It's fricking January, man. Plus, I assume you have testicles. Don't drink coffee with ice (or sugar, or cream, or what the frick ever)

Don't know enough to pinpoint your issue. A couple of possibilities:
1) if you're always getting sick when drinking coffee on an empty stomach, it might be related to the caffeine content which increases the level of stomach acid.
2) again, more likely on an empty stomach, could be a related to how your body reacts to the tannins in the coffee.
If the above issues are relevant, try to time your consumption closer to when you've eaten and drink slower (if you're rushing to finish your coffee/espresso).

Stop drinking iced coffee and see if that solves the problem.
