So I need a few shirts embroidered, nothing big.

Just a "logo/name" above the pockets on a couple of fishing/Columbia shirts, with a date/year.

I have the JPEG image and just want it sewed on a couple of shirts.

These are sailing shirts for a trip.

Anyboby know of a "small", personal/home shop that can do this?

Monogram Shop on Lobdell wont do it...

Are you supplying the shirts?

There will likely be a digitizing fee for the logo unless it's very simple.

Would probably be around $10 per shirt for the embroidery depending on where you go , not including the digitizing fee. Most companies will charge a $5 sample fee for each location.

I know those aren't the answers to your question, just giving you what I know.

Look up promotional companies in br. I don't have any to recommend.

I ask if you are supplying the shirts because you probably would have saved money buying from a promotional company.

There's a place on Essen in the same parking lot as Albertsons. Its actually next to red stick sports, may be owned by same people. I've had a few shirts done there. Good work, decent pricing.

It's called Finishing Touch and yes it's owned by Red Stick Sports. I don't think they have a walk in counter anymore, you can call or go to Red Stick Sports and they will help you.

Keys graphics next to voodoo BBQ on Drusilla can do it. They do some fornme periodically, usually quick turn around and easy to deal with

You should have purchased the shirt from the company that is embroidering the shirt.

Not so. There are quite a few small mom and pop places that will do say LSU stuff, when they are not licensed to do LSU embroidering.

This is what Im after, a say in home person, that has one of those machines, which can now be easily be bought.

Wrong. Places like the Monogram Shop on LObdell, don't sell shite. There job/business is to monogram shite you bring in. I have had them customize LSU shirts and hats for me every year.

Yes they are LSU licensed.

Bought the wife (no pics) an embroidery machine a few years ago and she uses the shite out of it. Damn near everything my little girl wears has sometning on it now
With that, I don't think you can just take a jpeg and do it. You have to have it in whatever file type that machine takes.

Well then you are going to the wrong places.

Ask if the company you are going to is an ASI or Sage company. They buy at wholesale prices.

Well sure. They will do them. But one, they typically won't be responsible for any damages. And two, can get most of those items and sell them to you at better prices than you are getting them.

Tini
Do you bring them a PDF/Rastor file, or do they do the design ?

I have the basic design as a PDF.
