Boys.

I have a boy (9) and twin girls (8). The girls have been super needy from day 1.

Why? You only planning on raising kids to age 7?

I think he asked that because everyone knows who is harder from 7-18..........

To answer the OPs question, I think it is girls. I only have a 3 month old son, but I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews that are between the ages of 3-9 years old. The girls at about age 3-8 have wanted to sit on the ground and play, or even color or draw while at restaurants. The two nephews want to run around all damn day

When you are changing a boy's diaper, there is no concern for how to wipe. When changing a girl's diaper, you have to know how to wipe or there will be an infection. That's 3 years of greater trouble right there. Then you have to train your girl how to wipe while potty training. And even if you do all that correct, there will still be some urinary tract infections.

You get over it quick.

It's really NBD. Source: I have a boy and a girl.

bullshite. Girls by a mile. Boys are a wild nightmare as toddlers but get better as they are older. Girls are much easier but get exponentially more emotional and needy/socially difficult around the 9-10 year mark. Why do I know this as fact? Well, I have it at the absolute worst time right now. My boy is 5 and my girls are 9 and 10. So I speak from experience.

Boys hands down. They're rough and can handle getting corrected. Girls are fragile and they know how to use it to their advantage at an early age. I've got 2 boys (12 & 7) and a girl (6) and its night and day. Wouldn't change it for anything though. I love my little princess haha

Well, since I had my son circumsized I would say boys are easier. Now I don't have to worry about hygiene problems.

That's the same experience that I've had. My daughter and two nieces are cakewalks compared to my two nephews.

I've never had an issue with cleaning a girl's shitty diaper. I've seen my nephews piss all over people, themselves, rugs, walls, etc. though.

Girls no matter the age will always be the hardest to raise. You will always instinctively want to watch over them no matter what. They will cry the most, they will want the most attention, etc.

No question, girls are much easier from 0-12, Boys much easier from 13+

Little girls want attention 24-7, but boys need supervision 24-7. If my girl is out of sight, she's probably in her room coloring or looking at books, if my boys are out of sight, you better find them quick.

I have a boy (7) and a girl (5), and by far the boy has been easier. My daughter can be a holy terror at times, but that's rare.

Cleaning and grooming: boys. The aforementioned hoo ha issues, plus once they have hair, you have to keep it out of their mouths as they eat, sweat, play, etc.

Keeping calm indoors: girls. My little girl can sit and read or color, my son at this age woke up mumbling about going to play. Eating at restaurants with him was miserable till about age 4. He's a pretty chill kid, but it seems like most little boys are out for destruction.

Listening: my son does better at this. One time out or spanking is usually enough to get your point across. Daughter is defiant for the sake of defiance.

Mine are 3 (girl) and 5 (boy). She's going to be hell on wheels as a teenager.

Have both and I can't say I noticed a difference until about 12 or 13. Girls are way more difficult at that age.
