Passed it this morning and it's starting to look a lot better.

The LeBlanc's helps. I noticed they have put up a lot of matching signs for the other stores which really helps unify the whole place.

I did notice that the Chase bank still looks the same, as does Drusilla seafood. They also still have that gaudy brick sign up by Drusilla lane next to Canes. I hope the fix all of these things. That place needs a complete overhaul and I hope it happens.

Anyone have any knowledge of what all they plan on doing?

I never go by there anymore…is there still a Hi Nabor in that shopping center? I remember it caught fire a while back….did LeBlanc's replace it?

Did they fix the freaking parking lot yet? Besides the giant pits present, navigating it has always been an adventure as lanes went every which way with a 3-4(?) way stop in the middle of it.

They still have that shop with the Mexican imports? I used to live right near there and loved that shop.

Parking lot looked completely repaved and the Imports place was still there, I think. I could be wrong though.

I lived around there in 2003-2004 so it's been a long time.

I wonder who paid to have the entire parking lot repaved?

There's a place in there called Nightowl Video. Never passed by but always wondered if it was a porn video shop with that kind of name.

Group of investors bought the shopping center sometime in 2014 and are putting money into it.

I heard they're turning the old Drusilla Imports outdoor building into a Daquiris of New Orleans.

And all things come full circle. Used to be Drusilla Daiquiris.

Drusilla imports is in the space to the left of LeBlancs in the main building.

I am also hoping they tear down the old crappy signage and put up something a little nicer. The renovations are making an improvement to the development. Hopefully some of the neighboringowners will follow the lead of the main shopping center property and update their properties.
