Torrential downpours and 30mph damn near from Houston to Baton Rouge.
Probably the worst storms I've driven through in my lifetime.

Just turn your hazards on. You'll be fine.

Was pretty gnarly.
That storm caused a power outage that lead to a sulfur dioxide release at PRSI.

I highly recommend the Columbus McDonald's.

No, there isn't.
It's summer. Typical summertime afternoon thunderstorms.
You're being dramatic. Just sayin.
Eta: if they're so bad, stop taking pics and posting, and drive.

Wind was throwing water off the interstate onto my windshield at times. Butthole pucker factor if 90. Had kids in the truck with me so I was kind of terrified.

No man. I looked at the radar as we were between storms and they looked to be feeder arms from something in the Gulf. That's why I asked

Sorry you're getting a lot of shite in this thread, OP. I upvoted you for the pretty picture.
I am not a meteorologist and I live nowhere near the Gulf but oh well. OT gonn' OT.

houston area can get some serious pop-up storms during the summer ... i mean everybody on 45 or 10 slowing down to 30 mph with hazards on ... i feel your fear ... no reason for people to be so mean ...

I had company come in from Houston Friday. They managed to survive the horrendous pop up storms between houston and Baton Rouge and make it here.
Lawd bless his soul.

Are you new to living in the gulf-south? It's like this every single year late summer.
Posted on 7/25/16 at 8:55 pm to meauxjeaux2
Never rained downtown....must've just gotten the eye of the hurricane.

Worst rainstorm you've ever driven in? Better pull out your phone and take pictures while driving!
