Problem is matching up the hard rubber stripping on threshold. Thought a good door supplier could help me match it .

That usually indicates the door being knocked out of square due to force from settling.
You'll need a new door but check those king (double studs) studs for plumb when you pull old door to see if there is sagging or settling going on in that wall.
Get a pre-hung door.
