Ours lay down in the back of the jeep(hardtop on).

One thing that bugs me is when I see someone driving with their dog on their lap.

My mutt gets tired of one window so I have to roll down another for him and he runs to that one... After a little while he gets tired of that one so I have to roll down a different one. It is a never ending 3 window cycle

Guilty. Not going to stop. Only thing I've changed was get my pup some Rex Specs to protect her eyes.

Peekaboo WTF?!? Where in Mississippi?

as a dog owner i find it amazing and almost criminal, that you see people riding in their car and see their dog with their head out of the windows, and/ or jumping around from seat to seat .

What's the point of even living? It's my dog's favorite thing in the entire world to car surf. I just make sure I'm in the right lane and that I drive insanely carefully.

So dogs with their little paws up on the steering wheel like they are driving isn't cute?

Just kidding

I'm guilty of it. My boys and the GF's small dog are floaters. I've been in an accident with one of the dogs, my biggest GSD. He walked away as though nothing was wrong. I ended up having a few fractures and excessive bruising.

I will admit this is the responsibile thing to do. However in one of our cars, it isn't possible, as one of my dogs ate all the seatbelts in backseat when he was a puppy. I've "disciplined" that habit out of him since then.

shite my GSP would lose his ever loving mind if he couldn't put his head out of window. To quote some other guys.... How the frick am I supposed to fit a kennel in the back seat.
My dog is trained well, he will not jump out of the truck and does well on the long rides. Although he sleeps a tad awkward.
I just changed phones, but I had a pic like the one of the weimer sticking his head out with the flying lips! My man loves him some wind in his face.
I always think.... As good as the can smell can you imagine the rush of scents that come into their noses?

Liberals always wanting to make laws and then they complain about the police "harassing" them while enforcing said laws.

Get a buckle for them. They make them for all size dogs, they aren't expensive. They work fine.

I just love how this nation has pussed out of fun simply in the name of safety. It's a dog. It will only spend 10 years on the planet. Let the dog have fun and put its head out the window. Let the dog just layback instead of being restrained. If you get in a wreck, well if you're with your wife and kids, your dog will be the least of your concerns.

None of my 3 would ever do that. They are actually very good car dogs. There is a much greater chance that someone is affected by a cell phone or the entertainment system.
