Telling everyone their animals are taken care of... Their Orcas are never caught in the wild, and live just as long in captivity...

They're just trying to counteract the bad publicity from CNN's "Blackfish" documentary. They know that most TV watchers will believe most anything they see on TV.

I've only seen bits and pieces, but it's not much of a reach to imagine that keeping wild animals in captivity can result in some negative consequences. Especially animals of that size that are used to oceans, not tanks. People just typically choose to look the other way when animals are the source of their entertainment.
Even if sensationalized, Blackfish just put that on blast. Unfortunately for SeaWorld, they were the subject of it.

The year after Blackfish they beat out Comcast as the most hated company in America. I'd be running commercials too.
