Does ayone have any updated info on the 21 year old with the underage girl in BR

Back story, 21 year old male picked up a chick at a bar in Baton Rouge and took her home for sex. He was later arrested for having sex with an underage girl. Anyone have any updated info on the story?

That's kinda messed up, you shouldn't have to ID girls you meet at a bar.

Frankly I think if he had sex in the bar he could have case since it's the bar's responsibility to only allow ppl 18+ into the bar. Once you leave, that's on you.

Well Jesus Christ, if she had a fake that was good enough to get her in there is no way this will hold up unless they can prove he knew her real age somehow.

I know but if you meet in a bar and they had a fake ID WTF are you supposed to do? There has to be more to the story, if not I would not accept any plea and I would demand a jury trial to clear my name. After that I would sue the shite out of everyone I could.

The issue you have is that you are using logic with this instead of the law

I disagree, I am confident I could find an attorney that could get a jury to use common sense. I mean, if they said it was a guaranteed loser I would listen to them but there is no way that any reasonable person would convict if you if you met in the bar and the girl had an ID.
If there is more to the case, like she looked 12, then maybe but just based on her being in a bar and the ID I would fight it as hard as I could.
