Does anyone have any experience with Medi-Share or another healthcare sharing ministry?

It is something my family is now having to look into, as BlueCross is almost to the point of being impossible to pay for now. I'm just looking for some honest evaluations from anyone who has experience with these type of programs.

Lady I work with has it. Has only the very most positive things to say about it and she's not some super holy roller trying to push it.

My sister and husband use it

They like it although I saw their bills after having a baby and it's not cheap by any means

We have it. Family of five $320 a month $3750 "deductible". No script coverage but we use Goodrx app to save. It's a lot better than other options we had. I was skeptical at first. My middle child got run over by a golf cart and we took him in. Med bill was $12k plus and they paid for it all after our deductible.

Can't be worse than traditional insurance.

I joined Christian Healthcare Ministries at the end of 2014. Haven't been to the doctor since the Clinton administration, so I can't relate any personal experience with the claims process.

I think you'd be paying $450 a month + $40 a year + $25 a quarter for a family plan at the maximum participation level. $1k deductible per incident, no lifetime limit.
