My father died in December. You need to re-evaluate your relationship with your parents before you can't anymore. Trust me, it's brutal to lose one.

My mom is a talker and it drives me nuts. But I have patience with her because my idiot uber/phony religious sister and her husband treat her like shite so I feel bad for her in that regard.

i can't be around mom because she died 3 years ago. until the alzheimer's took her mind, she was always fun to be around. she didn't approve of some things i did, but she always thought i was the bee's knees.
