It started in the computer age and it's mostly girls.. anonymously posting things about other girls, calling them sluts, whores etc. because some girl is dating their ex boyfriend.

I'm having a hard time imagining how weird you actually were. Can you give us a description of yourself or perhaps some examples of the wierd shite you did to make people want to kick your arse everyday?

I'd say two of the biggest unintended consequences would be
1. Kids are not learning how to resolve their own problems with their peers.
2. Kids are learning the bad lesson of it being OK to be a smartass or "troll" and knowing they'll be safe from getting their arse kicked. Basically, they're learning to be emotional rather than physical bullies.

I have ADHD before it was a thing. So I would just say whatever random shite that was in my head. I have no filter.
I also have zero hand eye coordination, so I was really bad at sports. The teasing dropped dramatically once I got to where gym was optional.
Finally, I had issues getting ready in the morning, so my mother would dress me until I was in middle school. I don't mean pick out my clothes, but actually dress me. Put my clothes on for me. This stopped maybe when I was in 7th grade, maybe a bit before then. My parents also were really cheap, and much of clothing would not fit me properly (aka high wadders(?)). They also refused to buy me fashionable clothes
I also had bad acne, a really loud unique voice, an abnormally large head. I also had bad hygene skills.
And if you met me know, you would say - can we got back to when you mother dressed you cause you are wearing ladies pants right now, and you haven't combed your hair in a week.
the only thing that saves me now is that I am good looking and really smart.

I got fricked with all the time in school. It helped develop a personality and wit. It sucked at the time but I've come to appreciate it's bemefits.

I had one old arse 8th grader (failed twice) try to fight me when I was in 7th grade but I showed up to the fight and he said I was one of the only ones to do that and said he respected that and left me alone. It probably also didn't help to find out I was one of the strongest players on the football team and all my friends were on there too that were just as strong

I think all of you have missed the biggest unintended consequence of the anti-bullying movement: it has turned the victims into the biggest bullies to ever live. It's gotten so bad that now anyone who does anything that these dweebs find even remotely morally questionable, their goal is to ruin this person's life forever. Something happens every single week where these assholr pussies go and try to sabotage one person who has fricked up on the internet this week.
Then these pussies have the balls to say that judging and bullying are morally deplorable. All these people do is judge and bully everyone who doesn't agree with them, particularly if they're a white, Protestant, straight Republicans. All of them are fair game... Really it can all be narrowed down to Republican for getting bullied on a large scale. If you're a gay black male, you're royalty to them, but the second they find out you're Republican, then you get just as ridiculed as their white straight counterparts. Just hypocrisy of the highest order.
In effort to become a nation of tolerance, we've become nothing but a nation of bullies.
