I had a sinus infection that I took a shot and zpak for last Monday. The cough still hasn't gone away. I have had a nasty cough, coughing up all kinds of nasty shite. It sounds bad. I had planned on letting it blow over but i've had a couple of people at work tell me i should get it checked out, in case of pneumonia. I feel fine otherwise, just a nasty sounding cough.

Should I make an appointment? I don't won't want to waste money on copay if i don't have too.

Smoke some weed to dilate the bronchiole tubes. Sounds like you have some chest congestion.

If you don't have a fever, and you don't feel like you should go, then don't go. If you're running a fever for most of this time period, start feeling worse, or have a complaint other than a productive cough, you may consider heading on in.

But if you feel fine with a cough, there's no harm in waiting a bit longer. If you're a smoker, it's especially ok to wait a bit longer- smokers take longer to recover from essentially everything, but especially from airway disease.

Have you taken over the counter cough medicine? I find Delsym works well for me. I always have coughs for a long time after a sinus infection. Sometimes 2 weeks or more. I just finished coughing last week from being sick the week before Christmas break. I just cough and cough for weeks on end. It isn't unusual for me. However, if you find this highly unusual for you and it worries you then go see a doctor. The copay may be worth the peace of mind.
