Do you yield for drivers backing out of spaces in parking lots?

Even if you aren't trying to park, do you extend that common courtesy or do you lay on the horn and squeeze past them?

I'll yield in a lot, but since no one does it for me on the street, I pick and choose.

Let them go. People lose their shite too easily driving. Live and let live. I appreciate that courtesy when I'm backing.

Yield. They can't see me. Plus if I wait I can just take the spot they're leaving.

since they are backing out because they probably don't see you coming, rather then have them back into me as i'm passing you're damn right i'm yielding.

I was backing my truck out at Whole Foods and some woman in a blacked out white Lexus, while I was already halfway out, laid on the horn for me to stop for her. I was looking left and right the whole time and of course I didn't see her because sped up on me. I even got yelled at and hands thrown in the air.

I miss common courtesy. A lot. Politeness goes a long way in my book.

I've become a much more courteous driver living in Houston

It feels impossible to get anywhere here, so I help out as much as I can. And I feel like others do the same

Never seen such a-hole drivers as in br

That's when you keep on backing up until you smash in their front end and just drive off, hey it's private property.

lucky for me that our new car has cross traffic warning. because the majority of people won't yield even if they know you can't see them.
