Currently on celexa and klonopin. I think they work ok but the dose was to low
Well make sure your doctor knows you're struggling with suicidal ideation. Klonopin and Ambien has the potential to increase your depression while decreasing your inhibition which can be a dangerous combination if you're truly struggling with suicide. Just a friendly tip for something to keep an eye on.
Here are some good sites if you ever have questions about your medications, want to know what other people think about them, etc. Crazy Meds Psycho-Babble Crazy Boards
Don't let the "crazy" parts of the titles scare you off, the sites are very informative they just happen to have a slightly sarcastic/dark humor approach to the subject.
Also Klonopin is more of an "extended-release" version of a Benzo in that its onset is slower and it stays in your system longer, which is good for general anxiety and times when you can plan ahead. But if you find yourself struggling with panic attacks or anxiety that tends to pop up quickly you might want to look into shorter-acting Benzos which are quick to pack a punch but can be useful in relieving rapid onset anxiety.
Also, from my personal experience SSRIs, which Celexa is, tend to numb me out emotionally which is nice when you're in the midst of a hell of a storm of depression, but ultimately it can lead to anhedonia and apathy which can be just as painful and harmful as strict depression.
For all I know you know all of this stuff already, but I figured I'd offer some advice from my own experiences with both of those meds just in case you're not completely familiar with them.
