Do you eavesdrop at the restaurant?
Posted by rebeloke on 5/5/15 at 11:49 pm06
I love that aspect of going out to eat. I overheard what had to be a 1st date tonight, where the chick is telling the dude she has spent time in the hospital for mental health. Saved the poor guys months of his life and tons of frustration. A part of me thought she should have keep that to herself and let him wait 6 months to find that out.

OT Ballers know it's a waste of time to eavesdrop on other people. No one else leads a life as interesting as ours.

I was a busser at Ruth's Chris a few years back, and the roundtable discussions were absolutely hilarious
I once heard a man and woman talking about "It's a Wonderful Life." Not only had he never seen it, he had never heard of it and had no idea what the story was. She was explaining the entire plot to him.
Wonder if the light bulb went off in the guy's head, "So THAT'S why all those sitcom Christmas episodes have the same plot."

I do this everywhere. My favorite part is jumping into the conversation. In other news. This thread has made me hungry for Asian food.
