Ok so with direc TV I have the genie , I have been able to get the Sunday ticket for free one year and last year they did a deal with me where they charged me 1/2 price for the Sunday ticket but have me HBO and showtime ( which I had ) for 3 months free .....

I know I can do something similar this year but I really only want the red zone ....

I have read on here that people was able to get the red zone only , but on a few occasions I have been told by direc TV that I can not get the red zone without ordering the Sunday ticket .....

So my question is has anyone gotten the red zone without the Sunday ticket ......

Not sure, but I threatened them to leave the other day. The lady gave me $20 off my bill.

The fact that DirecTV doesn't offer Redzone as a stand alone channel is bullshite

i have been told the same thing but i have seen posted on here many times that people get just the redzone

they gave me the sunday ticket for free last year

As far as I know, the only way to get Red Zone is to get Sunday Ticket Max (or whatever they call the upgraded Sunday Ticket). So you have to pay the regular price plus the extra to get Max.

The reason Im asking if I don't cancel the will start taking it out my bill soon ....

If its possible I would rather the red zone and be glad to pay for it ....

Yea that's the only thing I don't like about direc TV , ( not being able to get red zone) so I guess I'll have to call and feed them some BS before they start billings for it .,...
