Did your mom go on your senior trip? Seems like a thing now.

I have some friends with kids that graduated last year and this year. Both had mom's go on the trip with a bunch of other mom's but they stayed down the beach. I would have stayed home rather than have my mom watching me.

Yep. In case we had to bail my reprobate out of Panama City central lockup.

We had a few of my friends' moms go on ours in high school, but they didn't watch/interfere with anything we had going on.

It wasn't bad at all. We had two moms and a dad go, and they let us do whatever. After Natalie Holloway (who I am one year younger than), no way in hell were they going to allow us not to be chaperoned in Cancun. And they got drunk and had a good time as well.

We went fishing at Toledo Bend, so no. Others went to Destin without moms as well. I couldn't do Destin because my summer job started the Monday after a Friday graduation.

Yep. I went on 2 senior trips. My mom took us on one, I went with a friend on another. We didn't hang out with them during either one. But they were able to buy us alcohol.. book the condo.. etc. My mom isn't really the type to have told me not to do something at that age.
Even the kids who went on cruises had a few parents go. I don't think I know a single person who went on one without parents.
EDIT: I assume they do senior trip in NOLA, right? Jones told me he didn't go on one when I asked where they went, and he said nobody he knew from high school went on one. Is this an age thing? A school thing? A NOLA thing? How do you not know what senior trip is?
