Did you get a sex talk when you were growing up?

Did you get a sex talk when you were growing up? What did it consist of? Who did it? What age?
I never got a sex talk from my parents. The closest I got was from my grandfather who told me "candy is dandy but liquor is quicker."
We did get sex ed in 6th and 11th grade though. It was relatively informative.
What were your experiences?

Yes. From my Dad when I was like 11 or 12 or so.

All I really remember about it is the guy who taught the class was like 6'10" and a few days into it he told everyone in the class to write down any questions and he would answer them. I guess in case anyone was embarrassed to ask in front of the class. Anyways, all the pieces of paper get turned in and every single one of them had the same question, "How big is your penis?"
CSB I know, still laugh about that sometimes to this day though.

In 4th grade a girl relayed the "birds and the bees" talk her mom had given her.
A few weeks later my dad asked me what I knew about sex and if I had any questions. I lied and said that I didn't know anything. That was the end of the talk.
When I got caught watching the scrambled porn channel a couple years later, I got a sterner talking to about the dangers of porn. No real discussion of actual sex though.

I actually learned how sex actually worked from a kid on the bus when I was 8ish I guess.
I had always thought sex was just kissing because everytime people would start kissing in movies and whatnot my parents would always fast forward, so that is what I thought sex was
then some kid told me how it actually worked and it blew my mind
