A friend of mine is getting married in New Orleans this weekend and the wedding is on Erato street and reception is in the warehouse district. What are some decent hotels in these areas me and the SO can stay?

I went to a wedding this past weekend in New Orleans and I stayed at Loft 523. It was pricey but it was nice.

Warehouse district hotel:
Renaissaince Art Hotel on Tchoup. Across the street from Lucys. Great price.

Look at the Embassy Suites on Julia Street or the Hampton if you want something a little cheaper

You can priceline a New Orleans hotel for pretty cheap on weekends when no special events are going on in the city. I usually always get the Marriott on Canal for around $80 per night or so.
Edit: You can specifically choose Warehouse District hotels too.

get over it nancy. that you can name a shooting on the street a year ago isnt all that terrifying.

Loft 523 is owned by the same folks that own the International House

I Stayed at The Blake Hotel at the corner of Poydras and St. Charles the other night. Got it for $89 a night on Hotels.com and I would stay there again. Big rooms, clean, and right by the Warehouse District, CBD, and walking distance to the FQ
