Anything I need to know or is it pretty simple? Quick recovery?

Don't know. I was a baby. I can hear sharp as shite now though.

Very simple procedure. Whole thing takes 10 minutes. She'll be back to herself the next day

I've been reading this site for a long time and that might be the worst post I've seen on here, congrats.

Both of mine got them. Pretty quick procedure and recovery. But when the kid comes to for the first time, they'll be completely manic. It took a while to get both of ours to stop crying. It just takes time for the gas or anesthesia to wear off.

Son had 5 sets. It's a breeze.

You're trying way too hard.

My daughter slept for a few hours when we got home and was crawling around that afternoon. She woke up pissed as a hornet though.

yep...prepare for some cutting up. otherwise, it is more upsetting to parents than anything else.

Quick procedure and quick recovery. We got there at 6, waited about 30 minutes before they brought us back, procedure done and we were on our way back home in time to get caught in morning traffic. Easy Peasy and easy recovery.

My daughter had two sets. There should be nothing to worry about.

This is what I'm afraid of, wife is pregnant now so rational thought isn't present at all

It pretty simple up front. helps a lot but it's also one of the biggest cons in medicine. Got them for our oldest kid. For the next two kids we learned about herbal stuff that solved our kids' constant ear infections. I don't remember what solved the problems but I learned about them online.
One of the tubes my kid got eventually got trapped sideways and caused a few infections. That was part of what made us look at alternatives. My wife's Ob-gyn also mentioned tubes as being a con.

Takes about 15 min, will be cranky for a couple hours then back to normal after she gets a nap

Congrats on no more ear infections!
She'll do great. Takes 15 minutes but they are super weird in recovery. she'll be fine by tomorrow afternoon.

The crying in the recovery room is the worst part. It's good though because it gets the anesthesia out of their lungs. My kids were 100% by that night.
