Date Rape Drugs? How Common?

I'm 35. I've been around drugs of all kinds since I was 12. The whole rich kid with too much time, too much money and too little supervision thing. There's probably not a drug on this planet that I haven't done or been exposed to in some way...even the exotic, designer ones.
Not once in my life has any attempted to sell me a drug to slip into a woman's drink. Never has it come up in conversation.
Yet almost every woman I know has been "drugged" at a club.
I'm of the opinion they drugged themselves by having those 8 shots of fireball and 4 cosmos, but I'm just a dumbass man who doesn't know the struggle.
So, has anyone ever come across legit rape drugs?

Aren't they illegal to posses? I had a friend who claimed one of his buddies drugged him as a prank. He then passed out on the floor of the men's room.
I assume they are uncommon but the scare factor makes them common to worry about.

Yeah. It tastes awful. At one point in time I could buy it legally. Remember blue nitro? frick, they sold the shite at GNC, and I've spun out.
But you can't pour a cap full in someone's drink and them not instantly notice it.
I haven't drank battery acid, but I imagine that's what it tastes like.

The sodium based GHB(clear liquid) will pretty much put you out. The nitro(blue) and I believe the red was (retro) was strong. My early 20s at the industry, in Birmingham, killed a lot of brain cells.

GHB used to be real common. When I was in college it was the drug of choice for guys and girls for about a year. Too many people ended up OG'n so it was phased out I guess.
I have never seen roofies first hand. Never tried them, never known anyone to have them. I am not even sure they are a real thing.
Most chicks get blackout drunk and then blame it on their drink being "drugged" because that shifts responsibility from them to someone else.
You are right about the taste of GHB. Nobody is pouring a cap or two of that in a girl's vodka soda or beer without it being noticed.

I have heard second hand accounts of people in Colombia being drugged with devil's breath though. If you see someone blowing a whitish powder at you it isn't the buga suga. Run.

Younger, wilder days man. We all have our stories, now I'm a grown adult that has a wonderful wife, 2 kids and a great job. Sorry our stories of being dumb kids have made you upset.
