No idea why. Can't smell anything. I have all electric so it can't be gas related.
Not sure what I should do.
Don't want to just yank them out.

pull the batteries
Low batteries usually make them chirp. This is full blown going off for 3-4 minutes then they stop.
I can't imagine it being dust either. I keep my place pretty damn clean

If I were you I would just take the batteries out. No way you will be able to sleep with that happening.

I've got two Great Danes and I came home one night and my two Danes were freaking the frick out and then I heard the smoke detector chirping. I let my one Dane outside to get some water and that fricker took off and ran to the gas station at Antioch and Tiger Bend I have no idea how his dark arse didn't get run over making it there but I was lucky that a nice guy caught him and called my wife.

Sometimes you can push the button and that will stop it for a while

I had those at an old house.
And it was an old house. They would chirp everytime I flipped the light switch to the kitchen. Another one would just chirp randomly.
I didn't even have batteries in them. I figured it was voltage or wiring or some shite.
Don't have the house anymore and never got it fixed. Hope this helps.

Twist unit from base and unplug. I just found this out during my most recent 2AM chirp fesr. Wish I would have figured it out a long time ago.

No lightning. Live in Baton Rouge. Weather is nice.

Do you have a lot of fruit/veggies in your house? Smoke detectors can have false positives if it gets a certain chemical on its sensors. The chemical is emitted from rotting fruit/veggies. I'd suggest you throw away all your produce.

No fruits and veggies. One does have a flashing blue light I habe never seen. Trying to look it up
