Between that, getting suspended, and breaking into houses....he earned his reverse Mohawk and everything else his dad dished out to him for punishment.

At the end, the suggested video in the top left hand corner (for me anyway, with "Father of the Year") in the title) may have been even better.
It was more violent, but the guy is trying to keep his kids out of gangs and make them go to school.

Some kids are just try hards regardless of good parenting. Sounded like he and the mother were divorced too. That's a pretty big brush you're painting with there.

That isn't true. No matter how good of a parent you are, kids will try to get away with bad behavior. You probably did things your parents objected to.
A good parent stops this shite before it gets out of hand and doesn't ignore it. He did exactly that.

Excuses, excuses. You are an enabler. This attitude promotes this. My parents divorced when I was 12. I didnt beat the shite out of females.
