It's relatively light weight for anyone who lifts.

Agreed. But I'm of the opinion you better have a really strong Oly background to be doing that. Most people doing CrossFit probably don't.

bullshite. bullshite, because you used words like "worst". You're telling me that a crossfitter has the "worst" snatch form, or the worst Clean and Jerk Form? Compared to people who frequent the gym? What kind of gym? 24 hour fitness? A barbell club? "And it's not close"? You're talking out of your arse, with statements like that.
You don't have to accept it. It's anecdotal. But I'm telling what what I've observed. I've been to large and small gyms. I'e frequented Gold's for a while.
Of all the people who go there regularly and engage in compound lifts, the crossfitters by and large have the worst form.

If you plan on doing the Rx weight it'll get tough deep into the workout, but scaled is 35/20.

Yeah but being pushed for time doesn't help things either.
You know what I'm trying to say. If CrossFit is your thing than I'm all for it ... But I agree with others that it's a very easy way to find yourself in the OR.

I found that snatching the weight with the DB perpendicular to your body and your hand flush with the plate the best way to do the lift.

I experimented multiple ways during a DB snatch workout 2 weeks ago.
The weight felt lighter using the method above.

I'm 193 right now and just hit a strict press PR of 217.5lbs. Squat is close to 405, Deadlift is 445 and bench is at 325.
What's your height?
