I'm in nursing school (graduate next Fall). I'm interested in CRNA school. Can anyone refer me to a nurse anesthetist to job shadow?

You must be real popular in your hospitals if you need to ask here.

Go to your next clinic site to the OR desk, ask the board runner to take your info and enjoy a day shadowing...

Post pics of yourself, that'll help determine the right fit.

TIA, maybe?

I just found 50,000 of them from a Google search.

You might want to be more specific

I'm fairly certain one of the requirements is to have actual clinical experience in the nursing field before you can become a CRNA.

Goto work at a hospital after getting your RN. Get to ICU as quickly as possible. Preferably Cardiac. Don't tell them you plan on going to grad school at first. Start working on your CCRN. Take your GRE. Go to the OR and meet CRNAs. Don't be a dick. Profit.

It is, but I would like to job shadow before I begin school for it, to make sure it is 100% a field I want to go in.
Kind of like how I shadowed a nurse before nursing school :)

Why not just focus on getting through nursing school and see if you actually like being a nurse first?

You will have plenty of time to shadow someone. You are gonna need years of ICU experience before you can even apply to a CRNA program. And in some cases....you will need floor experience before you can even get a nursing position in the ICU. Some ICUs will hire new grads and give them a very intense orientation. Just depends on the hospital.

Always love these nursing school students who haven't even passed the NCLEX think it's as easy as "Oh I want to be a CRNA cause I hear they make $$$$"

Just once I'd like to see a chick with a sense of humor and actually post a pic in response. Doesn't have to be nude of course, but enough to give everyone on here a laugh.

Go to medical school. Get the most extensive training available. Become an expert in the field of anesthesiology.
