Creeps or tailgaters? The definition of mixed feelings....

The person being tailgated was passing the 18-wheeler and stayed in the left lane because cars were merging into right lane from on ramp.

The fricking douchebag tailgater got what he deserved.

Brake checker is TPOS.

Rewatch the video, the dude in front really didn't even do anything wrong...at least based on what we were able to see.

I dream of being that successful when brake checking a tailgater. My hats are off to that dude. He ruined that person's day but not too much, just the right amount that they deserved.

While the tailgater is clearly an a-hole, anyone who brake checks someone is also and a-hole.

They are both in the wrong.


For starters, that person could have easily gotten over before the merging car was even close to getting to the merging point. At 0:18, that car should have gotten back over into the right lane. There was plenty of room in front of the 18 wheeler and plenty of room behind the minivan to let the other car merge. That being said, that isn't why they are at fault. Break checking like that is a dick move and is frankly a very dangerous stunt to try and pull, especially in that situation.

That tailgater is also definitely in the wrong to continue to follow that close for that long.

Break checking on a highway is dangerous no matter what if cars are around. It is exponentially more dangerous when being tailgated. You should never do it when being tailgated.
