Now Minnesota's DNR is shitting all over themselves, dragging the lake to see if there's any more.

Maybe it's Chinese crawfish.

If they find more, I volunteer myself to help properly dispose the mudbugs

Must be an invasive type. I remember find crawfish at my grandparents place in central MN.

I've seen many in Kansas soybean fields. Saw some just a few weeks back getting ready for bow season.

So I take it you're okay with invasive species like asian carp, lionfish, and tiger shrimp swiming in Louisiana waters?

From the Minnesota DNR's website: "Invasive red swamp crayfish confirmed in Minnesota lake."

MN DNR LINK

They're standing by this account, no crawfishing on it.

That's funny! I own a lake house near Fergus Falls and recently got about a 4 pound bass. Cut the stomach open to see what it was eating and found a crawfish. May be this is more common than MN DNR realize.

I've seen them in lakes all over the Wind River Valley in Wyoming. I thought it was common.

They aren't red until you boil them though.

Entirely too cold up there. Probably crush the population.

This just in.

Prices to soar!

They would be invasive in south Louisiana had they not met a cajun predator.

Wonder if the claws help, or hurt, their accuracy.

Obviously, you can't have a boil with only one.
