Crab Infestation plagues local chemical plant

I have just been informed that the people who service our porta potty's have had to haul off and replace 40 porta pottys because they were all infested with crabs, and by crabs, I mean pubic lice. We have a big expansion going on and obviously we have some nasty arse contractors. Carry on OT, I love Monday's.

No, there was just some plant hot floozie who's been fricking everyone.
She just happens to have crabs.
They should all get tested now too.

That seems more like a site problem and not a contractor problem.

Work numbs the senses, and you get this phenomenon.

You really believe the old "got crabs from a port-a-potty" story?
Of course, they probably tell their old men that it was their brother who stopped by while they were out...so it all comes around.

I bet some dudes are showing their wives this thread and saying "see I told ya"

With so many women going bare, it's hard to imagine any kind of real crab infestation in this day and time.

Maybe that's why this thread was created

A common misunderstanding is that infestation can be spread by sitting on a toilet seat. This isn't likely, since lice cannot live long away from a warm human body. Also, lice do not have feet designed to walk or hold onto smooth surfaces such as toilet seats.
quote:
Fact: According to the CDC, or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, pubic lice cannot live on toilet seats. Pubic lice can only survive on humans. If they fall off, they die in less than 48 hours. Additionally, pubic lice have feet specialized to grip human hair. They cannot stick to a smooth surface like a toilet seat.
quote:
Myth #3: Pubic lice can be transmitted by toilet seats, carpets, and furniture.
No. While I would be wrong to consider such transmission impossible, it is highly unlikely. Pubic lice aren't exactly nimble creatures. They cannot jump like fleas and they aren't very good crawlers, either. They have 6 burly legs that are really only good at one thing: grasping. Toilet seats, while high-traffic areas of bare bottoms, are very slippery and unlikely to host a louse for any significant period of time. And while they could hold onto the fibers of carpets and furniture, they cannot live very long without the blood of a human host and will likely perish before another scantily clad individual encounters the infested carpet or furniture.
